Before building a world, designing a system or writing a story, we search for the ember at the heart of the project. It has to be simple, honest and strong enough to survive the long road ahead.

Once we find it, everything else begins to take shape.

A project begins when an idea has enough strength to become a world. From there, we define its tone, its emotional core and the experience we want players to remember.

We build slowly, carefully and intentionally. We value depth over noise, warmth over spectacle and meaning over empty scale.

Founder & Creative Director of Emberbound Studios

Óscar Martín is the founder and creative director of Emberbound Studios.

His relationship with creation began early. As a child, he started building small databases, websites and Visual Basic programs, long before he fully understood that what he was doing was not only technical work, but creative work.

Over the years, that creative impulse took many different forms.

Actor in live events, director of real games and narrative theatre experiences.

Writer of tabletop role-playing games and worlds for ongoing campaigns.

Musician — guitarist and drummer in several bands.

Author of fantasy and science fiction novels.

Today, Emberbound Studios is where all those paths converge.

Programming, storytelling, worldbuilding, design, music, games and imagination now come together in one place: a studio built to create interactive worlds with care, depth and purpose.
